To make our students and citizens more aware and alive to the role, duties and responsibilities of the parliamentarians, Hon’ble Mrs. Supriya Sule, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha delivered a public lecture wherein she explained the role played by parliamentarians in the building of a democratic nation. She also interacted with our students and explained various obstacles and practical hurdles faced by them while performing their duties.

LEGAL DISCOURSE ON “ART OF ADVOCACY: MORAL & LEGAL IMPLICATIONS”

To make our students well conversant with the art of advocacy and mooting, none other than Hon’ble Mr. Justice P.N. Bhagwati, Former Chief Justice of India delivered a discourse wherein he emphasized that students of law should be well prepared before they appear before the court and never to lose patience in case of any untoward event.

To make it more advance and grand, we had organized a mock-parliament wherein more than forty students participated and were given the charge of various ministries and were assigned different roles right from the Speaker of the House to that of the actual ministers in the Parliament. Hon’ble Shri. Ranjit Sinh Mohite Patil, who is a member of Rajya Sabha inaugurated the event and also delivered a legal discourse on ‘the Role of Parliamentarians in Indian Democracy’.
