•	Prof. Dr. Mukund Sarda,Dean & Principal New Law College Pune was awarded Degree of D. Litt. by Governor of Madhya Pradesh on 20th November, 2015 at A.P.S. State University, Rewa (M.P).
•	JUSTICE V.R.KRISHNA IYER NATIONAL LAW & LITERACY AWARD 2014, was conferred on Prof. Dr. Mukund Sarda, Dean , Faculty of Law ,BVDU on 15th Nov. 2014 at Kochi.
•	"SILF – MILAT LEGAL EDUCATION INNOVATION AWARD¬ 2014, was conferred on Prof. DR. Mukund Sarda, Dean and Principal of New Law College, Pune, at New Delhi on 6th September 2014, by hon’ble Mr. Justice A.R Dave, judge Supreme court of India, in the presence of legal legend Sr. Adv. Fali Nariman and other distinguished judges of Supreme Court of India and Hon’ble Union Law Minister of India.
•	Received the ‘National Bar Award¬2008’ of All India Bar Association for ‘Excellence in Legal Education’ at the hands Hon. Mr. Justice Dr. Laxmanan, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, and Chairman, Law Commission of India.
•	Awarded ‘Certificate of Honour’ for having Presented Paper on ‘Impact of Mumbai Terror Attacks on Media Accountability visavis Free Flow of Information during Crisis Situation‐ an Indian Perspective at Oxford University in March 2009.
•	Awarded,“Vidhi Vidya Bhushan,” by Punyashlok Sadguru ShivParvati Pratishthan, Nashik for contribution in Legal Education.

AWARDS
•	Recipient of Pune Municipal Corporation ‘Best Teacher Award’ in 2003.
•	Recipient of the ‘Rashtra Shakti Foundation Award’ at the National Convention on Peace and Non‐Violence on 1st August 2004 organized by the Rashtra Shakti Foundation.
•	Recipient of ‘National Legal Development Award’ in 2006.
•	Youngest Principal in India’ at the age of 25 years at a Professional College.
•	Invited to attend the swearing ceremony of the then Chief Justice of India Hon. Mr. Justice R.C. Lahoti at Rashtrapati Bhavan .
•	He had the rare honor of being invited at Oxford University on 18 March 2009 to deliver lecture on "Media & Law".
•	He had also attended the 57th National Prayer Breakfast at Washington DC in February which was addressed by US President Barrack Obama and Tony Blair, former prime minister of UK. The national prayer was attended by more than 5000 delegates from 180 countries all over the world.
•	Prof. Dr. sarda also visited American Bar Association, Loss Angeles Bar Association, Supreme Court of State of Hawaii and various Universities in Washington, New York and Los Angeles. He was received by Hon. Justice Moon, The former Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Hawaii, United State of America.
•	He led the delegation of six students and two faculty members to participate at Harvard United Nations Model Conference at Harvard University, Boston, USA, in 2010.
•	He was also invited to present a paper on "Aviation Law : International Perspectives" by Beihang University School of Law, Beijing, China.
•	He has been awarded with best teacher award twice and with National Bar Award in the year 2008.
•	He has authored 7 books and 70 articles at National & International Journals.
•	He has guided successfully more than 18 students for Ph.D. including Hon. Mr. Justice B. N. Shrikrishna, Former Judge Supreme Court of India.
•	His illustrious academic career has many glorious chapters. His passion for the growth of New Law College is evident from the fact that the legends of Indian Judiciary, renowned lawyers, eminent judges, academicians and politicians have time and again visited Bharati Vidyapeeth New Law College.
•	He is known for building international collaboration and designing of era in legal education in the city of Pune. He holds various academic and administrative posts in Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University and other Universities.

Best Law Teacher Award
•	Dr. Ujwala Bendale was felicitated with the Best Teacher Award 2014 by Hon’ble Mrs. Kodre, the then Mayor, Pune City.
•	‘Best Law Teacher ’Award- 2014 is conferred on Dr.Bhagyashree Deshpande , senior faculty, NLC by Hon ’ble Shri. Ajitdada Pawar ,Deputy Chief Minister Maharashtra State.
•	Prof.Dr.Mukund Sarda receiving the “best Law Award” from Justice Chandrashekhar Dharmadhikari, Former Judg ,Bombay High- Court in The Presence of Hon’ble Dr. Patangarao Kadam, Chancellor, Bharati Vidyapeeth University.
