| Zero Tolerance Policy Against Sexual Harassment (Gender-Neutral Approach) Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) - New Law College, Pune, is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all individuals, regardless of gender. Our Zero Tolerance Policy against Sexual Harassment is gender-neutral, ensuring protection for everyone—students, staff and faculty. Sexual harassment, defined as any unwelcome sexual behaviour that creates a hostile environment, is strictly prohibited. Key Highlights: • Gender-Neutral Policy: Protects all individuals, irrespective of gender identity or sexual orientation. • Internal Complaints Committee (ICC): Handles grievances confidentially and sensitively, offering counselling, awareness programs, and support. • How to Report: Complaints can be filed via email (grievances.lawcollege@bharatividyapeeth.edu), the SHe-Box portal (https://shebox.wcd.gov.in), or helpline numbers (181, 112, 1091). • Punishments: Strict disciplinary actions, including suspension, expulsion, or mandatory counselling, are enforced for offenders. • False Complaints: Malicious or false complaints may result in penalties for the complainant. • Emergency Helplines: Immediate assistance is available through the Women’s Helpline (1091, 181, 112), Police (100), and College Security (8788098182).
